[ad_1] Job DescriptionPosted Monday, May 19, 2025 at 6:00 AMAMSOIL INC. is seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Supervisor to oversee and coordinate the activities of production workers on the 1st shift (Monday - Friday, 7:00am to 4:00pm, with an hour unpaid lunch). The supervisor will be responsible for managing production lines, ensuring product quality, meeting safety and production goals, and maintaining effective communication with other departments to meet customer deadlines.*The initial training schedule will follow the first shift's schedule.*Core Responsibilities:Manage assigned production lines to meet customer needs while ensuring product quality. Work with maintenance teams to identify repairs and preventative maintenance needs. Work with warehouse and staging teams to ensure availability of production materials. Report on KPIs and daily metrics for the assigned area. Supervise a team of 6 to 9 production employees, including training, motivation, and discipline. Responsibilities include:Administer and enforce company rules, regulations, and policies. Interview, train, oversee workflow, appraise performance, reward, and manage employee relations. Show leadership by exemplifying AMSOIL safety standards and encouraging team members to work to the same standards. Promote positive safety behaviors at all times; use proper PPE, safety tools, equipment, and procedures to ensure safety. Ensure housekeeping standards are met through regular audits of employee work areas. Position Requirements:Technical or Associate’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience; bachelor’s degree preferred. Minimum of 5 years of related manufacturing experience. Experience leading or managing teams. Forklift certification obtained through training and on-the-job experience. Physical requirements include standing and walking for extended periods and frequently lifting up to 50 lbs. Desired Skills and Attributes:Problem-solving skills. Ability to motivate and inspire others. Understanding of business implications of decisions. Sound judgment. Proficiency in MS Office and other software. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Self-directed decision-making based on production schedules and material availability. Situational assessment, prioritization, and adaptability to meet operational goals.
