Role Overview As a Staff Engineer at Workwarp, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership to our engineering teams, influencing and building vision with product managers, team members, customers, and other engineering teams to solve complex problems. You will be accountable for the quality, usability, and performance of our solutions and will lead in design sessions and code reviews to elevate the quality of engineering across the organization. Your expertise in programming languages such as Java, C#, and Azure will be essential in defining, creating, and supporting reusable components from a business and technology perspective. Key Responsibilities Focus on multiple areas and provide leadership to the engineering teams Own complete solutions across its entire life cycle Influence and build vision with product managers, team members, customers, and other engineering teams to solve complex problems Accountable for the quality, usability, and performance of the solutions Lead in design sessions and code reviews to elevate the quality of engineering across the organization Define, create, and support reusable components from a business and technology perspective Mentor more junior team members professionally to help them realize their full potential Consistently share best practices and improve processes within and across teams Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to have: Fluency and specialization with at least two modern languages such as Java, C#, or C++ including object-oriented design Experience building products of micro-services oriented architecture and extensible REST APIs Experience building micro frontends Experience building the architecture and design of new and current systems (architecture, design patterns, reliability, and scaling) Experience with continuous delivery and infrastructure as code Experience with Synthetic Monitoring, Cucumber, and Playwright Fluency in DevOps Concepts, Cloud Architecture, and Azure DevOps Operational Framework Experience in leveraging PowerShell scripting Experience in Datacenter structure, capabilities, and offerings, including the Azure platform and its native services Experience in security protocols and products: understanding of Azure Active Directory, Active Directory, Windows Authentication, SAML, OAuth In-depth knowledge of CS data structures and algorithms Knowledge of developer tooling across the software development life cycle (task management, source code, building, deployment, operations, real-time communication) Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable: Experience with automated QA solutions and support related open-source tools Strong problem-solving ability Ability to excel in a fast-paced, startup-like environment Experience with AWS, GCP, or another cloud service Skills and Competencies To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: Strong technical leadership and collaboration skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to mentor and coach junior team members Strong attention to detail and quality focus Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Workwarp, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
