Our mission is to: Explore and harness data to define and solve true problems Remove barriers between data sets to create new avenues of insight Build and iterate on solutions that generate value Act as a change agent to advance curiosity and performance Job Summary As a Data Analyst I, you will work under close supervision to design and implement processes and solutions associated with various data sets used for data/text mining, analysis, and informed business decisions. You will examine structured and unstructured data from multiple sources, use current and emerging technologies to evaluate trends, and develop actionable insights and recommendations for management. Key Responsibilities The successful candidate will: Support the FedEx Dataworks Strategy and Engagement Office by providing operational and organizational health insights, reporting, and analytics for the broader Data, Digital, and Commercial Technologies organization Curate insights from a mix of data sources and tools, use logic to connect data elements, and deliver decision analytics dashboards for tactical program management users and Senior Leadership Work with senior Data Analysts and Strategy Leads to influence, assess, and measure value-generating strategic initiatives for the organization Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and analytics tools to support business stakeholders Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and develop data-driven solutions Stay up-to-date with emerging trends, technologies, and methodologies in data analysis and visualization Requirements and Qualifications Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a quantitative discipline such as Mathematics, Engineering, Operations Research, Economics, or Finance No prior experience required - comprehensive training provided Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with complex data sets Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to present insights and recommendations to stakeholders Proficiency in analytics software and applications, including Power BI Suite of Products Experience with coding languages such as SQL, Python, or R is a plus Preferred Qualifications We prefer candidates with: Experience with data design and flow, dashboard and decision tool creation, and workforce analytics Knowledge of quality-driven management principles, such as ASQE QDM or Six Sigma Familiarity with MS Azure, Planview PPM, or Agility Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you will need: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and presentation skills Ability to work with complex data sets and identify trends and insights Proficiency in data visualization tools and techniques Strong attention to detail and quality-driven mindset Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At FedEx Dataworks, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
