About the Role We are seeking an experienced Quality Control Standards Data Analyst to join our team in a remote data entry position. As a Quality Control Standards Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in driving a culture of safety, efficiency, and innovation within our Quality Control division. You will be responsible for analyzing data to identify trends and performance metrics that will inform business decisions and drive process improvements. Your expertise will be essential in helping us maintain our commitment to low costs, modernization, and compliance, ultimately giving us a competitive edge in the industry. Key Responsibilities As a Quality Control Standards Data Analyst, your key responsibilities will include: Performing and assisting others in the Quality Control group in ideal data collection, validation, and root cause analysis on data components. Helping to create and present results from complex data and analysis for both technical and non-technical clients and leaders. Assisting in exploring ad-hoc requests arising from emerging maintenance issues and providing logical answers to enable Senior Leaders to make business decisions while balancing existing project responsibilities. Presenting insights, trends, and potential recommendations by utilizing data visualization tools supporting the relevant marks of the investigation to ease partner understanding. Helping to create and disseminate specific queries to pull and coordinate data from various sources, establishing the rhythm, and approving the need of the data requirements. Identifying irregularities in processes through reviews/audits and conveying findings to the team. Assessing the effectiveness of processes and methods by observing for patterns and errors. Ensuring that a compliance mindset is at the forefront of every decision. May perform other work duties as directed by Group Leader. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as data analysis, statistics, or a related field. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect, organize, and analyze large datasets with precision and accuracy. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively listen, understand, and convey complex ideas to various audiences. Ability to evaluate business issues, identify valuable opportunities for data needs, and interpret resulting metrics. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Knowledge of data visualization tools and capabilities, such as Tableau, Alteryx, and QuickBase, is a plus. Ability to understand the issue, summarize, and perform root cause analysis on data, and provide recommendations using logic and reasoning. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: Prior internship, capstone project, or research experience in a related field. Experience working in a data-driven environment, with a focus on data analysis and visualization. Knowledge of data mining and machine learning techniques. Experience with data visualization tools, such as Power BI or Tableau. Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
