Job Summary As a Consultant - Program and Project Management, you will be responsible for managing process automation projects from start to finish, ensuring that they run smoothly and that we deliver the best outcome for our customers. You will work cross-functionally with different internal stakeholders to ensure that our technology is effectively serving the business. This role requires an individual who can coordinate with multiple stakeholders, oversee project plans, identify and solve unexpected problems, and report on milestones and deliverables. Key Responsibilities: Manage process automation projects from start to finish, ensuring that they run smoothly and that we deliver the best outcome for our customers Coordinate with multiple stakeholders and other project managers to create and align project plans Oversee the plan's execution, identifying, tracking, and solving unexpected problems, while minimizing risk Report on milestones and deliverables, ensuring that stakeholders are informed and up-to-date Ensure advanced planning for organization-wide project efforts, including DR/BCP, Process Documentation, New Solution Rollouts, and other initiatives Provide training content and communications to stakeholders, ensuring that they have the information and resources they need to succeed Drive Digital Finance Programs, leveraging your expertise and experience to deliver exceptional results Requirements and Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to have: Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience Four or more years of relevant work experience in program and project management Project Management Experience, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time, on budget, and to the required quality standards Experience managing time-bound task deliverables for multiple stakeholders, with a strong focus on prioritization and resource allocation Preferred Qualifications: Master's Degree in a related field, such as business administration, computer science, or engineering Familiarity with Project Management Institute (PMI) process and standards, with a strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies Experience with MS Project, Clarity PPM Engines, or other project management tools and software Understanding of Digital Finance Solutions and Processes, with a strong focus on financial analysis and planning Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and identify trends and insights Excellent PC skills, with advanced knowledge of Google Suite products and other productivity software Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Verizon, we are committed to helping our employees grow and develop their skills and expertise.
