Responsibilities:Design, code, test, and deploy software applications using programming languages such as /RPGLE, CL, and on the Support, enhance, and troubleshoot existing applications and systems on the IBM i to ensure they meet business needs and performance standardsCollaborate with business users and analysts to understand and convert business requirements into technical specificationsOptimize applications and system performance, ensuring data integrity and efficient operationDebug code, resolve production issues, and provide timely solutions to application glitches and errorsIntegrate AS/400 systems with other modern applications and external systems, ensuring seamless data transferCreate and maintain technical documentation, procedures, and troubleshooting steps for applications and systemsWork with IT teams, business analysts, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutionsParticipate in modernization projects to evolve legacy systems and integrate them with newer technologiesExperience Needed:Recent AS/400 or iSeries DevelopmentSynonRPGHealthcare industry experience preferred but not neededWill be building APIsFully Remote (CST hours and 40/week)Dexian is a leading provider of staffing, IT, and workforce solutions with over 12,000 employees and 70 locations worldwide.
