About the position Responsibilities • Evolve how contracts are managed for leaders and vendor partners. • Challenge and re-engineer conventional business processes and policies. • Build trusted relationships with partners and work internally across teams. • Construct the strategic vision for overall partner contracts. • Lead verbiage updates and optimize contract structure/design. • Partner with legal and compliance departments to review, draft, and revise contract agreements. • Negotiate with vendors and clients on various contracts. • Ensure appropriate materials and services are obtained from suppliers consistent with cost, quality, and statement of work (SOW). • Facilitate internal contract approval processes. • Analyze change requests to existing contracts and approve changes or revisions. • Collaborate with the planning team and broader VVO team to ensure contracts support strategy and operations. • Partner with Finance to ensure contracts align with financial targets. • Process SOW and POs to ensure timely payments to partners. • Follow up on inquiries from leadership and partners regarding contracts. • Ensure timely planning ahead of contract renewals. • Communicate proactively with VVO leadership and partners regarding contracts. • Monitor market trends around vendor pay structures that drive targets and performance. • Convert data into meaningful storyboard presentations. • Showcase opportunities and pain points through market research and analysis. • Operationalize and sustain processes emerging from center priorities and initiatives. • Establish a standard reporting, review, and communication mechanism. • Utilize design thinking to translate abstract problem statements into actionable programs. • Collaborate with partners from multiple functions to drive organization-wide initiatives. Requirements • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience. • Four or more years of relevant work experience. • Experience with contracts and/or legal documents. • Proficiency with Google Suite. • Willingness to travel up to 25% (including International travel). Nice-to-haves • Demonstrated competency in developing processes and managing relationships. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Experience designing, developing, and implementing methods and strategies to improve processes. • Experience presenting and communicating to all levels of the business. • Customer Service Experience. • High degree of analytical capability with proven ability to structure business cases around a strategic vision. • Strong strategic skills with the ability to identify and assess key points, implications, and recommendations.
