About the Role We're seeking an exceptional Digital Principal Development Engineer to join our team on a remote basis. As a Digital Principal Development Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in planning, initiating, and managing digital and information technology (IT) projects that drive innovation and excellence in healthcare. Your expertise will be instrumental in analyzing user needs, developing software solutions, and ensuring the highest standards of performance, reliability, and maintainability. Key Responsibilities Analyze user needs and develop software solutions to meet business requirements, leveraging your technical expertise to drive innovation. Determine the feasibility of solution designs and prepare technical design documentation to ensure seamless execution. Upgrade existing software applications and/or systems to improve functionality and features, with a focus on performance, reliability, and maintainability. Write and review high-quality code, performing unit and/or automation testing to ensure the highest standards of quality. Support applications, systems, and databases used to process prescriptions, claims, and related healthcare activities, ensuring smooth operations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams on applications development, technical requirements, code review, project deliverables, quality assurance, and software development best practices. Mentor junior team members, sharing your expertise and experience to foster growth and development. Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you'll need a strong foundation in computer science, software development, and cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess: A Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. Five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Five (5) years of experience with each of the following: Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud infrastructure and services. Redis and Splunk for complex data mining. Kubernetes or Docker. Spring Boot and MicroServices. Java, J2EE, Servlets, Hibernate, MySQL, and NoSQL. Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), Model Driven Architecture (MDA), and Domain Driven Design (DDD). Providing domain support for healthcare or retail pharmacy organization. OWASP (Open Web Application Security Project) standards for web/software application security. Preferred Qualifications While not mandatory, the following qualifications will give you a competitive edge: Experience with Agile development methodologies and DevOps practices. Knowledge of healthcare industry trends and regulatory requirements. Certifications in relevant technologies, such as GCP or AWS. Compensation and Benefits We offer a competitive compensation package that includes: A salary range of $169,229 to $280,000 per year.
