Job Overview We are currently seeking experienced CDL-A truck drivers to join our dedicated team. As a CDL-A driver with Marten Transport, you can expect to earn an average of $92,000 or more annually, with guaranteed weekly pay and a range of benefits that set us apart from other carriers. Key Responsibilities Operate a commercial vehicle in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all federal and state regulations Transport dedicated freight to assigned destinations, ensuring timely delivery and excellent customer service Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition Communicate effectively with dispatchers, managers, and other drivers to coordinate routes, schedules, and any issues that may arise Maintain accurate records, including logs, receipts, and other documentation as required Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge Essential Qualifications Current CDL-A license with a minimum of 6 months recent qualified driving experience At least 22 years of age Ability to pass a DOT physical and meet all federal and state regulatory requirements Excellent driving record with no major accidents or violations Strong communication and customer service skills Preferred Qualifications 1-2 years of dedicated truck driving experience Experience with no-touch freight and drop-and-hook operations Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELDs) and other technology used in the industry High school diploma or equivalent Skills and Competencies Strong knowledge of federal and state regulations governing commercial vehicle operation Excellent navigation and route-planning skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills Physical ability to lift, bend, and maneuver equipment as needed Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits Work Environment and Company Culture Marten Transport is proud of its friendly and supportive company culture.
