About the Job We are seeking an experienced and licensed clinician to join our team as a part-time Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Consultant. As a key member of our team, you will provide a full range of EAP services for employees, managers, and eligible family members. Job Summary The part-time EAP Consultant will work 20 hours per week, with flexible hours determined by the selected candidate's availability and approval from their leader. The selected candidate must maintain the set schedule once started. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in clinical experience, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently. Key Responsibilities Consistently provide exceptional and proactive services as a licensed clinician, ensuring smooth integration with Acentra Health operations and accounts. Provide direct counseling and outreach services that create awareness of EAP services. Make referrals to treatment services where appropriate, ensuring a satisfactory client experience transitioning from EAP services to treatment services. Refer to community resources to support clients' well-being and mental health. Comply with all Clinical and Professional protocols, processes, and Acentra Health policies. Understand the scope of EAP services and as needed, communicate that scope to external parties, including clients, managers, and other support staff. Consult with Acentra Health supervisors concerning clinical case staffing and high-risk cases. Maintain and manage a caseload of direct service counseling clients, maintaining case records following Acentra Health policies and practices. Display excellent teamwork, communication, and collaboration with your manager and other Acentra Health staff. Required Qualifications/Experience To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and experience: An active, unrestricted, Wisconsin Licensed Counselor in the behavioral healthcare field (e.g., LCMH, LCSW, LMFT, LMHC, LPC, LPCC) issued by the Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services (WDSPS). A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field. 3+ years of clinical experience. 1+ years of case management review experience. Proficiency in using Microsoft Word, Excel, and other applications in the Microsoft Office suite. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently. Maintain a high level of confidentiality. Good problem-solving skills. Work telephonically and with computer systems. Assist members, and conduct outreach to members without prior engagement. Flexibility and strong organizational skills. Strong understanding of cultural competency when working with the population. Ability to multi-task and prioritize with variable and sometimes conflicting deadlines, superior attention to detail, and demonstrated decision-making ability. Demonstrated initiative and judgment in the performance of job responsibilities. Maintain professionalism, flexibility, and dependability under pressure. Strong communication (written/verbal), interpersonal, organizational, time management, and communication skills with a strong focus on customer service, including building and maintaining relationships with internal/external customers and facilitating meetings. Ability to research/identify and apply appropriate standards of care. Interest in continuous learning and a commitment to staying informed on regulatory changes. Preferred Qualifications/Experience The following qualifications and experience are preferred but not required: 5+ years of clinical experience. EAP experience.
