As a Senior Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in delivering critical intelligence to clients, driving direction and specific action to enhance their security and operational conditions. Job Overview In this full-time position, you will act as a liaison between Mandiant's extensive network of cybersecurity, threat intelligence, and data operations experts and our clients. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the delivery of significant knowledge to every client's security or operational conditions, fostering informed decision-making and targeted action. This role is based in Virginia, USA, and while we are open to discussing remote work arrangements, the ability to work on-site may be required. Key Responsibilities Connect intelligence to foster understanding of tracked threat activity, performing strategic, tactical, and operational research and analysis of hostile cyber threats and groups. Assess current and emerging tools and best practices for tracking advanced threats, tools, tactics, and procedures (TTPs) of adversaries' motivations, industry, and attacker trends. Prepare and deliver briefings and reports to clients' executives, security teams, or individual analysts, presenting strategic and tactical intelligence about threat groups, their methods, and the motivations behind their activities. Convey the significance of findings to various audiences, including technical and non-technical stakeholders, and provide guidance and mentorship to new team members on CTI procedures and applications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build strategy and influence partners, leveraging your exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively in high-speed and constantly evolving environments. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you should possess: A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline. At least 2 years of experience in a Digital Threat Intelligence role, preferably in a client-facing environment, with a focus on CTI procedures and applications in areas like Identify, Protect, Respond, or Recover. Experience in stakeholder management, leading, installing, and reporting to various audiences, including executives. US Government Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance with polygraph. Preferred Qualifications While not mandatory, the following skills and experiences are highly desirable: Experience in the use, processing, and analysis of strategic (technical) CTI within an operational environment, supporting monitoring, detection, and response capabilities. Understanding of CTI concepts and application ideas, with the ability to advise and guide new CTI team members. Ability to correlate raw intelligence from sensors, incident response engagement, and other sources into reports and briefings. Excellent presentation skills, with the ability to present written or verbal information to technical and non-technical audiences. Capacity to take complex, ambiguous topics, build strategy, and influence partners. Outstanding collaborative skills, with the ability to work in high-speed and constantly evolving conditions.
