Key Responsibilities Provide entry-level support for all Information Technology products and services, including answering questions, troubleshooting problems, teaching, or instructing employees regarding software or hardware functionality. Install, administer, and perform daily maintenance of the workplace IT infrastructure, including desktops, laptops, printers, desk and mobile phones, and network cabling. Demonstrate basic knowledge of Active Directory, Domain Controller, Group Policy, and Windows ACLs, and apply this knowledge to resolve technical issues. Replace/install existing and/or install new desktop/laptops at designated employee office area locations, ensuring employees have required equipment and software. Assist in the accomplishment of company objectives by performing other related duties as assigned by supervisor/manager. Resolve user configuration, network access, and authentication issues in a timely and effective manner. Ensure IT security by implementing antivirus tools, encryption, local and network backups, and staying up-to-date with the latest security best practices. Maintain accurate and up-to-date IT and Company assets (Hardware/Software) inventory. Apply basic knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, Azure AD, Exchange, and other relevant technologies to support business operations. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: An Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in a computer science or related field, or equivalent experience in an IT-related field. Strong foundation in computer hardware and software installation, diagnostic, and troubleshooting. Operating systems installation, configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting skills. Knowledge of remote connectivity, VPN, Multi-factor Authentication, and other relevant technologies. Understanding of Microsoft Windows Operating Systems and their applications. Basic networking knowledge, including LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, and other network essentials. Familiarity with email and conference software, such as Outlook, Teams, and Zoom. Proficiency in office productivity tools, including MS Office 365 and MS Office. Willingness to learn quickly, multitask, and work in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications While not mandatory, the following qualifications are highly desirable: CompTIA A+ certification, and/or applicable Microsoft or other type of IT certification(s). Previous experience in an IT support role or a related field. Strong problem-solving skills, initiative, and teamwork abilities.
