Job Overview We are seeking an experienced IT Business Analyst to provide IT administration, project management, and support to our IT Offices Group. As an IT Business Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring the functional sustainability of our critical infrastructure, including data centers, communication rooms, and IT labs. You will work closely with our team to provide expert services, project management, and support to guarantee the operational maintainability of our basic framework. Key Responsibilities Provide IT administration of all site implementations, inventories, framework planning, accompanying, preventive measures for maintenance and break/fix services for data center critical infrastructure, IT certification labs, and remote communication room critical climate hardware Support IT labs to align our customer application and engineering teams with workstations, equipment, and access to test their applications Coordinate remotely with professional services responsible for critical infrastructure maintenance and break-fix activities at remote communication rooms Manage, operate, maintain, and monitor all critical facilities infrastructure for data center and remote communication room equipment Develop data center and remote communication room standards for space, power, cooling, and physical layer IT infrastructure Support IT Offices campus fiber ring to maintain the integrity and service continuity of the Atlanta airport and campus facilities underground fiber ring Propose and implement departmental policies, guidelines, rules, and procedures Ensure compliance with all governing corporate standards and regulations Project management of data center and remote communication room standards capital enhancements, upgrades, and improvements Select IT and critical facilities services, ensuring accurate documentation, getting the best prices for products and services, and ensuring that vendors fulfill their contractual commitments Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a related field Knowledge of data center technology and critical facilities systems Project management experience with remote communication room standards capital upgrades, overhauls, and improvements Capital forecasting and project management for airport critical equipment life cycle replacement Support Corporate Real Estate projects that interface with remote communication room design/work as an IT Offices representative and on-site assessment reporting Space, UPS power, and critical cooling capacity management Selection of critical facilities services, ensuring accurate documentation, getting the best prices for products and services, and ensuring that vendors fulfill their contractual commitments Manages the design, implementation, and vendor support of the appropriate electrical power, A/C, fire suppression, security, floor maintenance, and cabling programs for communication rooms Provides proactive and break-fix support for alert/ticket remediation related to facilities, remote communication rooms, lab, and data center hardware Operational sustainability of airport critical climate systems Develops Plan Standards for Remote Communication Room Space, UPS, air conditioning, generators, and Fire Life and Safety (FLS) systems Remote coordination of airport critical infrastructure maintenance and break-fix activities Reviews/Maintains Maintenance Records, ensuring errors are remediated Provides remote Incident Management resolution to airport critical equipment Provides remote installation, setup, and operational support Maintains strict adherence to change control activities Balances multiple priorities within established time constraints Flexibility to support an operation with varying shifts, extended hours, and on-call requirements Strong written and verbal communication skills Consistently prioritizes the safety and security of self, others, and personal data Embraces diversity, thinking, and styles Preferred Qualifications To be a competitive candidate, you should possess the following preferred qualifications: Four-year degree or 5 or more years of relevant experience IT Project Management experience with (at least 3 years) in a high-availability communication room or data center operating environment, daily operational requirements, and the operation of production systems and equipment Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Delta Airlines, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
