As a senior engineer, you will be the technical lead in your area, working independently within the scope of your space, and following best practices to set standards for your team. Key Responsibilities Apply technical and domain knowledge within the scope of your space, with awareness of how surrounding systems work and using them to solve complex problems at scale Build High-Level Designs (HLD) and Low-Level Designs (LLD) including multiple systems Work with key stakeholders like product managers, architects, and senior engineers across the organization to determine agreement on solution approaches Analyze complex problems into steady deliveries in larger projects Prioritize work effectively and ensure that overabundances are updated consistently Participate in on-call activities for any emergencies and identify repeat patterns to take action against fixing the root cause, ensuring proper documentation, visibility, and reliability of things you own Mentor junior architects and participate in hiring top talent Skills and Qualities for Success To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualities: Proficiency in Python/Golang Related experience building high-scale distributed systems Experience in designing and building low-latency and high-scale Microservices Proficiency with code formatting tools like Github Related experience in making data store decisions and proficiency in any of RDBMS, NoSQL data stores like MySQL, Mongodb, Redis Related experience building Non-blocking systems using Kafka/Message brokers Excellent troubleshooting skills Experience in CI/CD tools like Harness/GoCD Experience in setting up and driving visibility aspects of Microservices to monitor and proactively identify foundational issues Preferred Education and Experience We are looking for candidates with the following education and experience: Tech/B.
