About the Role: Data Engineer As a Data Engineer on our core engineering team, you'll play a critical role in developing and delivering software that drives our business forward. You'll work on designing, coding, and deploying software solutions that meet stringent financial regulatory expectations, leveraging large datasets and multiple technology systems across 20+ countries. Key Responsibilities: Develop, deploy, and operate relational database programs across development, test, and production environments, ensuring high-quality and scalable solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive technical innovation and solve complex problems, leveraging your expertise in SQL and data engineering. Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices and contributing to the growth and development of the engineering team. Minimum Qualifications: To be considered for this role, you must have: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, demonstrating a strong foundation in computer science principles and software development. 2+ years of experience with SQL and data engineering, showcasing your ability to design and implement scalable database solutions. Preferred Qualifications: To stand out as a candidate, you'll ideally have: Exposure to Public Cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure), highlighting your ability to adapt to evolving technology landscapes. Experience with cloud-based data engineering, demonstrating your knowledge of modern data architecture and engineering practices. Skills and Competencies: To succeed in this role, you'll need: Strong programming skills, with proficiency in languages such as Java, Python, or C++. Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL processes, showcasing your understanding of data engineering principles.
