JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS: The Center for the Business of Sustainability within the Smeal College of Business is seeking to hire a student intern for the 2022 to 2023 Academic Year. The position requires in-person attendance for meetings and events in addition to remote work on a flexible schedule for a total of 10 hours/week at a rate of $13/hour. The intern will work with Center staff and Smeal Marketing/PR office to develop written content for various communications and channels including the Center’s blog, email marketing campaigns, newsletters, and press releases. The successful candidate will be responsible for attending Center events, conducting interviews and classroom visits, and more to gather and write compelling stories. Occasionally, the intern may create short videos to highlight alumni, interns, or special projects. This position provides exposure to a broadly defined understanding of sustainability in business, including concepts as they relate to health, social equity, conservation, marketing and behavior, supply chain, and financial and social impact. This is an opportunity to work in a highly collaborative team of interns, faculty, and staff.
