Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough investigations, produce data-driven insights, develop high-impact solutions, and communicate accurate results to stakeholders and management Present findings with a clear perspective and compelling observations, enabling insights to drive product strategy Design, distribute, and maintain flexible self-service tools and dashboards that align with broader departmental objectives, allowing cross-functional partners to access data and identify key insights Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Design teams to identify areas of opportunity, define and implement tracking designs for the toolset, and influence prioritization decisions with data Mentor departmental colleagues on analysis best practices, technical skills, and developments in our organization's data architecture Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Information Systems, Economics, or other quantitative and technically rigorous field required 2+ years of work experience in a relevant field, ideally in business analysis, strategy, startup/tech, or marketing Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to tailor communication style according to the audience Strong technical aptitude, with demonstrated experience using data from multiple sources to solve complex problems, tell a story, and impact overall strategy Proficiency in SQL/Eden, Google Cloud Platform, and Excel/Google Sheets Experience with visualization tools, such as Google Data Studio, Looker, or similar Preferred Qualifications Experience with Python/Git is preferred, but not required Knowledge of data architecture and data governance principles Experience working with large datasets and performing data analysis, data mining, and data visualization Strong understanding of statistical concepts and machine learning algorithms Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Wayfair, we are committed to providing our employees with opportunities for growth and development.
