Kindle is looking for a Senior PM-T to lead strategic development and growth of its apps on phones and tablets. In this role, you'll own the core CX frameworks for these apps and orchestrate how millions of readers discover content they love and engage in them. The ideal candidate will combine deep customer empathy with analytical rigor to define and deliver a comprehensive app strategy that accelerates innovation for Kindle customers. This role is inherently cross-functional; you will work closely with engineering, design, research, analytics and more to bring your vision to life, and ultimately deliver a delightful experience to our customers. Key job responsibilities 1. Own the end-to-end product strategy and roadmap for the Kindle apps on iOS and Android, across phone, tablet and desktop form factors. 2. Develop and audit business strategy, contributing significantly to the overall Kindle strategy, customer engagement and analytics. 3. Closely monitor and advocate for investments in emerging technologies and use cases enabled by generative AI. 4. Define product requirements through deep understanding of customer needs, market trends, and technological capabilities. 5. Work with teams across Amazon and Books, and cross-functionally with design, research and engineering to deliver an inspiring product roadmap that balances short term wins with long term bets based on that vision. 6. Drive product launches including working with the public relations team, executives, legal, marketing, customer service and other product management team members. About the team The Kindle Experience Product Management team owns the customer facing software experiences across all Kindle devices and apps - ranging from how you read, navigate, acquire content and more. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS • 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience • Bachelor's degree • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition • Experience with end to end product delivery • Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS • Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight • Experience in product managing iOS and Android app development Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
