Pathology Transcriptionist

Accurate and timely transcription of pathology reports in accordance with established guidelines and standards. Maintain a high level of attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks. Utilize strong understanding of medical terminology to accurately transcribe complex medical reports. Collaborate with pathologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and complete documentation. Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times. Continuously review and improve transcription processes to ensure efficiency and accuracy. Communicate any discrepancies or inconsistencies in documentation to the appropriate parties. Work independently and prioritize tasks to meet strict deadlines. Assist with the training and mentoring of new transcriptionists. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and best practices in transcription. Demonstrate a commitment to quality and accuracy in all aspects of the job.
