The role will focus on the work-streams associated with Sales Enablement and support projects that impact field sales, field leaders and internal stakeholder groups. The Manager, Sales Enablement Content Development is responsible for producing original, thought-provoking communications that will be used for multiple purposes including training, gaining alignment & change management. An integral part of this role will be to develop deployment content for initiatives in collaboration with key stakeholders across Sales Operations, Sales Planning & Readiness & Sales Enablement. This role requires the candidate to think strategically and work with virtual and extended teams across the larger organization. The ideal candidate would possess the ability to manage short-term and long-term projects that support sales execution across field sales projects. They would have an extensive working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite with a prime focus on content design in Microsoft Power Point and video creation in other design programs. Duties and Responsibilities: Supports organization and management of Sales Enablement project initiatives. Build content (written and visual) including, but not limited to playbooks, participant guides, facilitation guides, job aids, handouts, presentation slides, videos, and quick reference guides. Materials should include a variety of learning styles including role plays, scenarios, videos, audio, gamification, etc. Use software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Camtasia, Powtoons, etc.) to build media that help translate center-led strategies into best-in-class regional strategic initiatives to maximize growth. Proactively work with Sales Operations Team and other Global Support Center functional departments to design and develop new content and functional training based on current sales initiatives. Applies sound principles of instructional design and adult learning theory to content. Manage a portfolio of Sales Enablement related projects with concurrent work streams in various stages of completion. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with other key stakeholders against project timelines. Support cross-department projects that may impact the Sales Enablement initiatives or anticipated outcomes. Understanding of marketing principles, product lines, ordering procedures and adhere to standards, guidelines and imagery based on Sysco’s Brand standards. Foster productive partnership within our internal and extended teams to ensure “field readiness” of all content developed around key initiatives. Education Required: High School Diploma Education Preferred: 4 year Bachelor’s degree Experience Required: 3 years of broad-based experience in creating content for sales and marketing including; instructional design, graphic design, training program design and development, project management of content design, design and development of instructor-led training and video production Computer skills including Microsoft Suite; PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Forms etc. Software editing program skills i.e. Adobe Premiere Pro, Camtasia, Powtoons, etc. Experience Preferred: Sysco Sales, Sales Strategy, Marketing, Learning & Development or similar Salesforce.com CRM Proven track-record of progressive career development Technical Skills and Abilities: Experience with designing and developing training programs through a collaborative approach with the business stakeholders and subject matter experts. Technical skill and expertise with instructional design and adult learning theory. Ability to work independently and in teams. Demonstrated ability to think strategically and understanding of multiple audiences. Experience with software to build instructor-led materials. Ability to resolve routine problems and questions independently. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with moderate supervision. Ability to work within set schedules and deadlines. Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with team members, leaders and associates at all levels. Ability to work within virtual teams. Strong organization and time management skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Superior verbal and written communication and presentation skills. Ability to adapt and be nimble as project scopes and timelines shift.
