As a Produce Associate, you will be responsible for ensuring a fresh and appealing produce display, providing excellent service to customers, and maintaining a clean and sanitary working and shopping environment. Key Responsibilities Ensures a fresh and appealing produce display by keeping it stocked with quality products, including fruits, vegetables, and other produce items. Provides excellent service to customers by answering general questions, providing recommendations, and offering samples of new products. Monitors and replenishes displays regularly to prevent spoilage or expired products, ensuring that customers have access to the freshest produce possible. Maintains a clean and sanitary working and shopping environment, including the produce department, storage areas, and equipment. Cross-trains in other departments as needed to support the overall operation of the store and ensure a seamless customer experience. Requirements and Qualifications To be successful in this role, you must meet the following requirements: Candidates must be at least 18 years of age. Must be able to lift up to 49 pounds and stand for long periods, as shifts can be up to 10 hours. High school or equivalent diploma is required. 1+ year of customer service experience is preferred, but not required. Availability Requirements We require full availability between the hours of 4AM-11PM, with shifts up to 8 hours long, sometimes between 4AM and 11PM. Overnight shifts are also available, requiring full availability between 10PM-6:30AM.
