About the Role: Flight Ops Flight Instructor The Flight Ops Flight Instructor is responsible for providing comprehensive training to Pilots in accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs), Advanced Qualification Program Manual (AQPM), Flight Operations Training Manual (FOTM), and Company requirements/agreements. This involves conducting training sessions in both classroom and simulator settings, developing instructional materials, and evaluating Pilot performance to ensure that our high standards are met. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and conduct classroom and simulator training in accordance with FARs, Training Policies / Manuals, and Company requirements. Facilitate pilot learning through engaging and interactive training sessions. Develop and create instructional and evaluation media/materials for support of training programs. Maintain course material and procedural integrity through self-study, skills practice, critique review, and instructor meetings. Perform other job duties as directed by Employee's Leaders. Essential Qualifications: To excel in this role, you must possess a unique blend of knowledge, skills, and experience. The ideal candidate will have: Flying experience operating an aircraft. USA DOT/FAA Unrestricted Airline Transport Pilot Certificate with 'Airplane Multiengine Land' Category and Class Ratings and 'English Proficient' limitation. A valid United States Driver's License. Excellent English verbal communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to read technical aircraft documents, follow technical instructions, and prepare written technical documents. A high school diploma or GED. Preferred Qualifications: While not mandatory, the following qualifications can significantly enhance your candidacy: Experience in developing and delivering training programs. Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs. Familiarity with computer-based training workstations. A strong understanding of FAR training requirements. Skills and Competencies: To succeed as a Flight Ops Flight Instructor, you must possess a range of skills and competencies, including: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to work under tight time constraints while maintaining flexibility. A strong understanding of technical aircraft documents and procedures. The ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner. A commitment to maintaining a well-groomed appearance per Company appearance standards.
