The IT InfoSec Organization Security Group is responsible for providing IT support to secure internal, employee, vendor, and external network access to Delta and tenant applications across multiple critical data center foundations. This team is at the forefront of Delta's IT security efforts, working to protect the airline's network and systems from potential threats and vulnerabilities. Key Responsibilities Design and support services to ensure the operational maintainability of critical infrastructure that supports Delta's applications, customers, employees, and vendor connectivity and security. Provide IT support for firewall hardware and software maintenance, including site implementations, inventories, system planning, preventive maintenance, and break/fix services in data center infrastructure. Support Enterprise Remote Access clients to align client edge security technology with client-specific requirements, utilizing advanced technologies like Application ID and User ID for granular user identification. Coordinate with Delta's business divisions through consultative services responsible for firewall policies and access control guidance. Provide operational on-call support for critical facilities and infrastructure components for Network Security. Support the IT Data Security Division to maintain the integrity and service continuity of enterprise data and applications. Recommend and implement departmental policies, guidelines, standards, and procedures. Ensure compliance with all governing corporate standards and guidelines. Project manage data center and remote communication room standards capital upgrades, upgrades, and enhancements. Ensure accurate documentation, obtaining the best product and service costs, and verifying that vendors fulfill their contractual commitments. Essential and Preferred Qualifications Essential Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Assurance, Cybersecurity). Strong understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, VPN, firewalls, and security protocols. Experience managing and maintaining server infrastructure on-premises and in the cloud. Analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve issues related to the managed security appliance and its integration with other systems. Monitoring and security analysis skills to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities. Strong communication and customer service skills to interact with end-users, understand their needs, and provide adequate support. Ability to work in a dynamic environment with varying shifts, extended hours, and on-call requirements. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with cloud networking and security architectures. Knowledge of industry trends and new technologies in cloud computing and security. Vendor relationship management skills, with experience working with cloud service providers. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to prioritize the safety and security of self, others, and personal data.
