Key Responsibilities Transcribe audio and video files with high accuracy, meeting our quality standards and deadlines Utilize transcription software, such as FTR Player or Express Scribe, to complete projects efficiently Conduct research to ensure accuracy and consistency in transcripts Proofread and edit transcripts to ensure error-free delivery Manage your time effectively to meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality work Be open to feedback and willing to make immediate corrections to ensure continuous improvement Ideal Candidate To succeed as a freelance transcriber with Workwarp, you should possess the following skills and qualifications: Audio transcription experience (1 year full-time or 2 years part-time) Excellent typing skills with 99% accuracy A minimum typing speed of 70 wpm Proficiency in transcription software, such as FTR Player or Express Scribe Excellent knowledge of English grammar and punctuation Excellent proofreading and research skills Good time management skills, with the ability to meet strict deadlines Previous training in transcription (desired but not required) Essential Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you should possess: Attention to detail: The ability to focus on intricate details and maintain high accuracy in your work Organizational skills: Effective time management and prioritization to meet deadlines and deliver quality work Communication skills: The ability to receive and act on feedback, as well as communicate effectively with our team Technical skills: Proficiency in transcription software, antivirus software, and professional headphones or speakers Adaptability: The ability to adapt to new projects, software, and workflows as needed Career Growth and Learning Benefits At Workwarp, we're committed to helping our freelance transcribers grow and develop in their careers.
