Key Responsibilities Troubleshoot and resolve issues with the dictation system and dictated medical reports, collaborating with clinicians, HIMD representatives, and the Department of Clinical Research Informatics (DCRI) as needed. Address backend speech recognition service, transcription, and medical editing/quality review related issues in Dolbey, working closely with HIMD and DCRI representatives to ensure seamless resolution. Assist the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) or their designee with various dictation and transcription-related tasks, providing expert problem-solving and support. Maintain a deep understanding of the requirements and nuances of medical transcription, staying up-to-date with the latest developments and best practices in the field. Essential Qualifications To excel in this role, you must possess: A minimum of three years of direct experience working in electronic medical transcription services, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality work. Strong technical skills, including proficiency in dictation and transcription software, such as Dolbey. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to troubleshoot complex issues and collaborate with stakeholders. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clinicians, HIMD representatives, and other stakeholders. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy, ensuring the highest quality of medical reports and records. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications can enhance your application: Experience working in a research or clinical setting, with familiarity with medical terminology and healthcare operations. Knowledge of speech recognition technology and its applications in medical transcription. Certification in medical transcription or a related field, such as CMT (Certified Medical Transcriptionist) or RMT (Registered Medical Transcriptionist). Previous experience working remotely, with a proven ability to stay organized and motivated in a virtual environment.
