Job Overview and Responsibilities We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Fundraising Event Intern to join our team for the Fall 2025 semester. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to work remotely and gain valuable experience in the nonprofit industry, specifically in fundraising and event planning. Your responsibilities will include: Assisting with the planning and execution of fundraising events, including logistics, marketing, and volunteer management Coordinating with internal stakeholders, vendors, and external partners to ensure successful event execution Developing and implementing strategies to increase event attendance and revenue Creating and distributing marketing materials, including social media posts, email invitations, and promotional flyers Providing excellent customer service to event attendees, donors, and volunteers Collaborating with the fundraising and business development team to achieve event goals and objectives Conducting research and analyzing data to identify trends and opportunities for event improvement Participating in team meetings and contributing to brainstorming sessions to generate new ideas and solutions Essential Qualifications and Requirements To be eligible for this internship, you must meet the following requirements: Be authorized to perform duties in the U. S. Be enrolled in a degree program that requires an internship for graduation Be actively enrolled in a 4-year or graduate degree program and receiving academic credit for the internship Maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0 Have reliable internet access, as this internship is 100% remote Acknowledge that this is an unpaid internship Be available to work a minimum of 120 hours during the semester, with a minimum of two four-hour blocks or three three-hour blocks of time during the business week (Monday - Friday, 7am - 6pm CDT) Preferred Qualifications and Skills We prefer candidates who are interested in Social Services, Volunteer Management, Nonprofit Leadership, Hospitality, and Event Planning.
