Job Summary In this role, you will be responsible for leading the development of analysis, business intelligence, and data science initiatives aimed at enhancing paid media performance and marketing efficiencies. You will work with cross-functional teams, including paid media, marketing, and finance, to drive business growth and improvement. Your expertise in data analysis, SQL, and data visualization tools will be essential in driving insights and recommendations that inform business decisions. Key Responsibilities Deliver reporting and insights in the area of paid media to drive business decisions and optimization Design and lead the development of analysis, business intelligence, and data science initiatives to enhance paid media performance and marketing efficiencies Collaborate with paid media, marketing, and finance teams to implement media mix models and drive business growth Lead ad-hoc analysis through database querying, followed by rapid interpretation of results and definition and communication of recommendations that drive action Partner with marketing, finance, and product teams to address business challenges and track marketing and product performance with a data-driven approach Leverage Structured Query Language (SQL), MicroStrategy, Tableau, Excel, and other reporting tools to create and maintain scheduled and ad-hoc reports Analyze data to identify business issues and lead deep dives to perform root cause analysis Collaborate with stakeholders to leverage data (internal data from Amazon and external data from market research and marketing firms) and address complex business challenges by delivering meaningful insights Conceptualize and run analysis that generates insights on customer behavior and customer needs to help further develop and improve our offerings Essential Qualifications Experience in the field of Business Intelligence, Analytics, or Consulting in an e-commerce environment or related field Advanced SQL experience Advanced experience with at least one industry analysis and metrics perception tool (e.g., Tableau/QuickSight/PowerBI) Masterful in Excel with a proven track record Degree in data science, business, economics, information technology, statistics, mathematics, or other related field Preferred Qualifications You enjoy working in a team of highly engaged individuals You have a passion for numbers, data, and statistics, but also for delivering high-quality analysis and insights Strong inclination for action, highly organized, and ability to complete tasks and projects with minimal direction and tight deadlines Excellent communication (verbal and written), interpersonal skills, and ability to communicate with both business leadership and technical teams effectively Experience with subscription-based or media content organizations Experience with and/or interest to learn more about cutting-edge data science approaches Programming languages: knowledge of Python Knowledge of other programming languages, such as Java or C#, or of statistical programming languages like R or SAS Knowledge of Adobe Analytics Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Amazon, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of professionals who are passionate about analytics and business intelligence.
