Position SummaryA Scientific Games Sales Account Manager (SAM) is responsible for representing the New Mexico Lottery and Scientific Games daily in retailer locations throughout the state. Their primary responsibilities include recruiting new lottery retailers, executing the raise them right program at new retail locations, and supporting other routes/territories as needed. Secondary responsibilities include executing and supporting lottery promotions as requested. The position requires the ability to work with minimal daily supervision as well as work independently. SalesAccountable to drive new retailers to achieve optimal sales targetsConduct business review presentations with key decision makers at the manager and Divisional manager levelEstablish and maintain rapport with decision makers at each retailerAnalyze and utilize data daily to influence retail decision makers on their Lottery needsPromote New Mexico Lottery products upon each retailer visitCreate retailer action plans to increase incremental sales at key retailersGrow the New Mexico Lottery Instant game portfolio by increasing Bin count utilizing sales performance dataEducate retailers and lottery players on all instant and draw games provided by the lotterySupport open territories or routes as assignedParticipate and engage in all Scientific Games and New Mexico Lottery sales meetingsMerchandisingConduct promotions at the retailer level, interreacting with the retailer and lottery consumer/playersEnsure proper inventory levels are maintained for every retailer within the designated route territoryProvide each retailer with updated Point of Sale material upon each sales callEnsure all products are in stock and ready to be soldAchieve and maintain the best placement for all Lottery games and Point of Sale material in each retail establishmentEnsure the proper placement of each Instant game to maintain plan-o-gram integrityAdhere to all New Mexico Lottery policies and procedures within each retailerMaintain all proper Lottery information guides in each retailerEnsure all equipment is working correctly upon each retail sales callDocument each sales call electronicallyRetailer Recruitment Identify potential locations which could possibly sell New Mexico lottery gamesMeet or exceed all quarterly recruitment targets/goalsPresent all Lottery products and the benefits of selling Lottery products to potential businessesExecute the entire application process with potential new customersSet up and train new Lottery RetailersRetailer TrainingConduct training with retailer employees on the policies and procedures of the New Mexico LotteryEducate Lottery customers/players while working in retail locationsProvide hands-on training for related retailer equipment. Adhere to Raise them Right – 30/60/90 program.
