Utilize strong clinical knowledge and skills to assess patient needs and provide appropriate interventions. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and implement comprehensive care plans for patients. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Act as a resource and mentor to other healthcare team members in code/rapid response situations. Remain current on evidence-based practices and participate in ongoing education and training to maintain proficiency in critical care. Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards in delivering patient care. Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and timely. Monitor and evaluate patient response to interventions and make adjustments as needed. Maintain a compassionate and patient-centered approach to care, ensuring the emotional and psychological well-being of patients and their families. Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient care. Adhere to all regulatory and accreditation standards in providing patient care. Serve as a professional and positive representative of the hospital and promote a culture of excellence in patient care. Be available for on-call responsibilities as needed.
