About the position Responsibilities • Perform claim processing and payment functions on non-complex claims for multiple lines of business. • Review electronic claim files for completeness and gather missing information as needed. • Make outbound calls to customers, ensuring satisfaction by responding professionally and matching their needs with company services. • Develop recognition of coverages, claim processing requirements, and related data processing systems. • Obtain appraisals and other needed information from insured parties, advising them on the proper course of action. • Record additional information into the company's network, updating the electronic claim file accordingly. • Interpret caller inquiries and offer options based on established guidelines. • Set up predetermined reserves on level 1 claims and manage outbound calls to confirm next steps. Requirements • 1 year of experience in customer service or a related field. • Associate degree preferred. Nice-to-haves • Experience with MS Office applications. • Strong organizational skills. • Ability to multi-task effectively.
