SummaryAs a NetSuite Quality Assurance Engineer, you will play a key role on our Corporate Software Development team, ensuring the quality of our products and services. Working within our agile development environment, you will be responsible for validating that all solutions developed by the NetSuite engineering team meet established performance and quality standards. Responsibilities Support the QA test, documentation and release management phases of the development process, focusing primarily on NetSuite function and automationWorks with NetSuite, Selenium, and a custom Java-based, object oriented, QA automation frameworkto develop, run, and maintain manual and automated QA testsDesign, document, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases and test processesPerform manual testing and develop test automation at the feature levelfor essential functions and new servicesDesign, develop, and execute integration tests to ensure seamless interaction between NetSuite modules and external systemsReview and provides input on developer test casesCommunicate test results and highlight any potential quality risksEstablish a set of functional, non-functional, regression, and production smoke tests to ensure performance, security, and consistency of the productReview user stories and provide inputs to make scenarios and tests more discrete, measurable and automation-friendlyCoordinate with the scrum team and development counterparts in overseeing bug tracking, test prioritization, test automation, and releaseCollaborate with product owners, software architects, software developers, network engineers, and DevOps administrators on best practices, process changes, and standards as part of continuous process improvement Qualifications and Experience BS in computer science or equivalent strongly preferred with 4+ years professional work experience in the Information Technology field, focusing on Quality Assurance processes and methodologies Proven experience as a QA engineer, developer, or administrator supporting enterprise-scale NetSuite implementationProficiency in programming with at least two of the following languages: Java, JavaScript, SuiteScriptStrong experience in developing automation using frameworks like Cypress, Selenium, Protractor, or an equivalent2 or more years of experience in at least one of the API/Unit test automation frameworks: Viz, JUnit, TestNG, HTTPUnit, HTMLUnitExperience with writing both functional and non-functional test casesSignificant experience in using various bug tracking, source control and build release tools, like JIRA, GIT, Jenkins, npm, etc. Strong understanding of debugging tools like Postman and code profiling tools like jProfilerPrior experience with Scrum, Agile MethodologyStrong teamwork and excellent problem solving and communication skills requiredSuiteCloud Developer Certification a plus***Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.
