Scope & Change ManagementCollaborate with stakeholders to define and refine project scope; update and communicate work plans to reflect approved change requests. Risk, Dependency & Issue TrackingIdentify cross-project dependencies, anticipate risks and issues, and manage escalation paths to ensure timely resolution. Communication & ReportingCreate and deliver clear, timely communications and status reports to project teams, stakeholders, and executives—providing read-outs on progress, dependencies, and decision points. Financial ManagementTrack and manage project financials, including baselines, burn rates, actuals, estimates-to-complete (ETC), forecasts, variance analysis, invoicing, and time tracking. Resource & Vendor CoordinationPartner with IT managers to secure and delegate resources; monitor vendor deliverables and accountability, escalating when necessary. Quality Assurance & Continuous ImprovementLead QA audits, enforce quality-control practices, conduct interim and post-project reviews, and document lessons learned. Team Leadership & MentorshipFoster a collaborative team environment, share timely feedback, and informally coach less-senior members to drive goal attainment. What it takes:Deep familiarity with project management frameworks, tools, and best practices for planning, tracking, and delivering complex initiatives. Ability to interpret project data, financial metrics, and stakeholder inputs to make data-driven decisions and recommendations. Proficiency in crafting both formal and informal content, active listening, and presenting insights to varied audiences, including executive leadership. Demonstrated capability to build trust, delegate effectively, and motivate cross-functional teams; mentor junior staff. Strong track record of anticipating challenges, managing risks, enforcing QA processes, and continuously improving project workflows. Experience securing project resources, optimizing utilization, and holding vendors accountable for deliverables. Meticulous attention to detail; creative thinker who proposes enhancements and innovative solutions under changing conditions. Enthusiasm for change, a proactive mindset for recommending process improvements, and the ability to source unique information to solve complex problems.
