Job Summary As a Customer Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring that our customers receive the highest level of service and support. You will serve as the primary liaison between our pilots, customers, and operations team, and will play a critical role in driving operational excellence. Key Responsibilities Operations Desk Management: Assist in the operation of the American Patrols Operations Desk, serving as critical command and control and primary liaison between pilots and our valued customers. Data Analysis and Reporting: Input, track, and analyze data pertaining to reports received from pilots and subsequent customer interaction, and generate customer reports indicating services provided and results of inspections. Customer Communication: Directly communicate with customers, leaving a lasting positive impression for the company, and ensure that their needs are met and exceeded. Schedule Generation and Coordination: Assist with generation of the daily flying schedule and associated mission products using American Patrols proprietary software, Garmin products, and Google Earth. Maintenance Coordination: Assist in coordination with maintenance to understand aircraft availability and its impact on flight operations. Pilot Communication: Communicate expectations of performance to pilots prior to mission execution, and ensure that they have the necessary information to perform their duties effectively. Project Support: Assist with general projects relating to the overall business as a critical member of a very small management team. Customer Onboarding: Coordinate with the President to onboard new customers and integrate requested work with existing operations. Requirements Essential Qualifications: Customer Service Orientation: A strong customer service orientation with an interest in operations and a passion for delivering exceptional service. Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers, pilots, and operations teams. Self-Motivation: Self-motivated and comfortable working with ambiguity and complexity, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, Google Earth, and other software applications as required. Availability: Full weekend availability, with a 5-day work week. Preferred Qualifications: Operations Experience: Previous experience in operations, customer service, or a related field. Aerial Patrol Services Experience: Experience working in aerial patrol services or a related industry. Leadership Skills: Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
