Role Overview We are seeking an exceptional Sales Director to lead and manage all aspects of our portfolio of brands for pure play (Amazon, Chewy, Go Puff, and others), our fastest-growing channel. As the Sales Director, you will serve as a general manager to the Pure Play business, working to optimize sales, maximize trade investment, increase profitability, drive supply chain and packaging initiatives, and drive sustainable improvements to the P&L. You will collaborate with cross-functional partners to manage all facets of the Amazon P&L, Chewy P&L, and others, and work closely with marketing teams in new product development and advertising to ensure the highest levels of efficiency and results are delivered. Key Responsibilities Constantly seek optimization and growth through performance analysis, with a test and learn mindset, ensuring teams provide post-program ROI analysis paired with consumer insights to make recommendations to increase sales and drive a premium brand experience. Re-craft reporting and influencing by building processes and coaching teams on negotiation. Serve as an internal eCommerce/growth sales and marketing thought leader, helping to identify digital marketing trends, new technologies, evolving best practices, competitor activity, and testing opportunities that will help drive the business forward. Review performance metrics, reports, and develop action plans to ensure performance targets are met through the continuous improvement process. Partner closely with operations, finance, IT, and other cross-functional partners to deliver topline and bottom-line growth for C&D brands. Build multi-year growth plans for pure players by category, brand, while keeping sight of competition, retailer growth, etc. Conduct business reviews to the executive leadership team on progress against financial plan and strategic objectives. Develop strong retailer customer relationships across multiple functions, i.e., buying teams, supply chain teams, etc., and elevate ways of working. Forge strong, highly collaborative relationships with the Church & Dwight International sales teams to foster the global Amazon Church & Dwight business. Develop Digital IQ, competencies, training, and capabilities across C&D teams with respect to excelling in pure play environments. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: A Bachelor's degree. 8+ years of experience in Sales (preferably for Pure Play accounts). 3+ years of Vendor Management experience. 5+ years of experience in Amazon/ecommerce sales. Superb analytic skills with the ability to dig deep into data to craft critical objectives and strategies and turn insights into action to drive results. Executive communication and negotiation skills with an ability to problem-solve and deal with ambiguity. Highly curious about all things digital marketing, eCommerce, and consumer experience. Energy, enthusiasm, willingness, and ability to raise the bar. Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are preferred: Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Proven track record of driving sales growth and improving profitability. Strong understanding of digital marketing trends, new technologies, and evolving best practices. Experience working with cross-functional teams, including operations, finance, and IT. Strong leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to develop and motivate a high-performing team.
