Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and maintain systems to deliver high-availability and reliability services Engineer the design and implementation of Render Farm, Storage, and job scheduling software Perform cross-functional troubleshooting of complex issues Demonstrate ownership of tasks delivered by your team and department Show a passion for mentoring, learning, and adapting to a highly dynamic and fast-paced environment Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into clear technical implementations Define and maintain excellent working relationships with all colleagues, partners, and clients Comply with all policies, regulations, guidelines, and procedures Essential Qualifications BS or MS in Computer Science/Engineering or relevant work experience Programming experience with languages such as C/C++ and Python Expertise in design and management of tools and services dedicated to Linux desktop, storage, and rendering farm operations Strong analytical skills and a penchant for working with a technical team to develop requirements and strategies to support the Linux infrastructure Knowledge of Linux Kernel and/or System Level design and native C APIs Familiarity with QT C++ APIs Strong understanding of Network-attached storage and access protocols, such as NFS or SMB Preferred Qualifications Experience with both relational and non-relational database technologies like MongoDB, ELK, and Postgres Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or others Experience with Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes Knowledge of Media and Entertainment workflows Basic understanding of network routing, switching, and network security principles Knowledge of Storage Area networking Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Disney, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
