Job Summary As an Engineering Student Intern in our Industrial Water/Wastewater Group, you'll work under the supervision of a senior engineer/project manager and collaborate with designers and technicians to produce plans, specifications, reports, and permit submittals for projects. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience, develop your skills, and contribute to the success of our team. Key Responsibilities As an Engineering Student Intern, your day-to-day responsibilities will include: Design and Technical Work: Assist in producing plans, specifications, reports, and permit submittals for Industrial Water/Wastewater projects. Technical Evaluations: Conduct technical evaluations and prepare design computations and assessments. Design and Construction Drawings: Assist in providing design/construction drawings, technical specifications, and bid documents. Communication and Coordination: Communicate and coordinate technical evaluations and designs with the Project Manager and design team. Project Management: Report directly to your supervisor and be responsible for completing design tasks within budget and on schedule. Requirements and Qualifications To be successful in this role, you'll need: Education: Pursue a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, with junior or senior year status preferred. Technical Skills: Strong organization and technical skills, with experience in AutoCAD a plus. Communication and Writing: Solid communicator with strong writing and verbal skills. Flexibility and Adaptability: Ability to complete work consistently with moderate flexibility to accommodate varying demands. Valid Driver's License: A valid driver's license and an acceptable motor vehicle and criminal record are required.
