Job Summary As a Pharmacist with Walgreens, you will be responsible for executing patient intervention pharmacy programs, driving pharmacy financial performance, and fostering strong relationships with healthcare networks. You will work in a remote setting, processing prescriptions and providing clinical pharmacy services to patients. Key Responsibilities Execute patient intervention pharmacy programs, including medication therapy management, vaccination services, and payer and pharma adherence programs Drive pharmacy financial performance by implementing programs to maximize reimbursements while improving patient health outcomes Foster strong relationships with healthcare networks in assigned areas and serve as a liaison and representative of the organization Provide clinical expertise and support to patients, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders Conduct data and clinical reviews to ensure accuracy and appropriateness of medications Review patient profiles and medication records to ensure safe and effective medication therapy Provide patient education and counseling on medication use and disease management Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient care and outcomes Essential Qualifications Current pharmacist licensure in the state where you will be practicing Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or related field Experience in a pharmacy setting, preferably in a clinical or patient-facing role Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Preferred Qualifications Experience with electronic health records and pharmacy management systems Knowledge of insurance plans and reimbursement processes Experience with clinical pharmacy programs, such as medication therapy management and vaccination services Ability to obtain additional state pharmacy licenses, if necessary Skills and Competencies Strong clinical knowledge and expertise in pharmacy practice Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Walgreens, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
