Why You'll Love This Job This role is part of our Payments and Digital Process team within the American Airlines Credit Association. As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for handling daily tasks related to check processing, item handling, direct payments, and asset transfers at American Airlines Credit Association. Key Responsibilities Complete data entry and adjusting capabilities Coordinate return items with individuals, outside merchants, the Central Bank, and other institutions Assist other departments with fraud investigation, part requests, and related Accounting general ledger adjusting Work part cases/exercises assigned Follow and maintain procedures and guidelines to ensure strict compliance of NACHA rules and guidelines and Government Banking regulations Process advance payments, multi-record and part stores, Mastercard payments, and other checks, such as IRA, bankruptcy, and result checks Audit, analyze, and support Remote Store, Mobile, ATM, and other imaged enabled items Log, research, and make necessary GL, account changes, and returns Process Stop Pays and Check Cashing Complete daily adjusting and branch closing Acquire data from individuals for the convenient and precise handling of international and domestic asset transfer requests Research and check incoming and active funds transfer data Communicate with vendors to handle funds transfers Understand and be aware of active and incoming funds transfer regulations Store check returns, research part returned checks, draft changes, process part checks, confirm individuals for friendly funds transfers, and Central bank confirming and delivering funds transfers Complete daily handling of work processes connected with late returns, source of receipts, foreign collections, and legal charges All You'll Need for Success To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess the following qualifications: Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree Previous customer/part service experience Previous banking or Credit Association experience Episys/Symitar and handling wires Preferred Qualifications Training and previous professional experience Excellent Microsoft Office skills (e.g., Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) Ability to work extended hours to meet business needs Ability to practice superb customer service skills Ability to act in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple tasks, and work as a team player Ability to perform numerical computations and analyze data Ability to successfully focus on work and comply with time constraints under high volume pressure Ability to broadly educate and perform any job assigned within the department Ability to connect professionally with all colleagues and individuals Ability to work autonomously and with minimal supervision Ability to self-motivate and take ownership of skills and knowledge development Ability to focus on work and meet time constraints successfully Ability to maintain good performance and participation What You'll Get At American Airlines, we're committed to providing our employees with a comprehensive benefits package that includes: Medical benefits: On the very first day, you'll have access to your health, dental, vision, and prescription benefits to help you stay healthy.
