Job Summary The Senior Data Analyst will be responsible for advanced analysis and insights, A/B testing improvement, serving as an information master, and performance reporting. Key Responsibilities Perform ad-hoc deep dive analyses that require advanced SQL and data table knowledge Lead knowledge-driven roadmapping, identifying potential opportunities for channel improvement based on investigations performed Champion the application of statistical best practices and cement a data-driven decision-making structure Identify opportunities for and implement process improvements, such as automated Python results pulling and flexible dashboards Serve as the primary resource for Marketing Data Engineering, focusing on medium-term asks (run planning) and shaping long-term strategy Become the informed authority on data tables, extensively communicating this knowledge across the wider team Normalize channel metrics and create flexible dashboards across stores/geos Prepare weekly and monthly performance analyses and draft stories Field performance-related questions from MSO and Trends Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Technical disciplines, Economics, Business, or other concentrations with a quantitative focus 3+ years of experience in a data-heavy role, in marketing, management consulting, startup/tech, finance, or potentially system fields Proficiency in data analysis and advanced SQL, as well as Google Sheets/Excel use Passion for finding patterns in data and knowledge of Python (or willingness to learn) Excellent critical thinking and verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to distill and convey complex ideas and influence senior-level and cross-functional partners Ability to own and execute on solutions to complex problems independently Ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt quickly, and thrive in a fast-paced environment A desire to win collectively, with a collaborative mindset and a willingness to see yourself and others succeed and flourish Preferred Qualifications Experience working in e-commerce or a related industry Knowledge of data visualization tools and techniques Familiarity with agile project management methodologies Experience working with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and engineering Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Wayfair, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
