About the Job As an EHR Analyst, you will play a critical role in implementing, maintaining, and configuring projects related to the support of the Department of Corrections' Health and Behavior Solutions team. You will work closely with the Reporting Committee and EHR core team to identify opportunities for optimizing business processes within EHR workflows, perform necessary build and testing for successful EHR optimizations, and report through Discern analytics and SAP Business Objects (BO). Key Responsibilities * Implement, maintain, and configure projects related to the support of the DOC's Health and Behavior Solutions team * Collaborate with the Reporting Committee and EHR core team to identify opportunities for optimizing business processes within EHR workflows * Perform necessary build and testing for successful EHR optimizations, reporting through Discern analytics and SAP Business Objects (BO) * Upgrade and configure Provider, Nursing, and Pharmacy workflow, Dentrix, and Dragon Medical One, and other related systems * Communicate software configuration with external and internal stakeholders * Work with external stakeholders to identify process improvements and optimizations * Engage with users to troubleshoot and resolve application-related issues * Develop and maintain documentation of EHR workflows, processes, and configurations Required Skills * 5+ years of experience in maintaining and vendor-managed software, performing maintenance, testing, upgrades, and configurations * Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with external and internal stakeholders * Experience working with external stakeholders to identify process improvements and optimizations * Existing knowledge of EHR/EMR Systems, including Oracle Cerner * Existing knowledge of implementing and integrating new analytics and reporting platforms for healthcare * Existing knowledge of Business Objects Reporting Solution * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues Desired Skills * Experience with SQL, PL SQL, and CCL code writing * Experience in Agile environment and System Development Life Cycle * Experience in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), running regression tests on systems, and identifying, designing, and optimizing new and existing test cases * Good understanding of Scheduling and Registration, HIM, Provider, Pharmacy, lab, and Nursing Workflows * B.
