Job Summary The Director, Executive and Global Compensation is a senior leadership role that is responsible for developing and implementing Indeed's global compensation strategy, including executive and broad-based compensation programs. This role will partner with key stakeholders to ensure that our compensation programs are aligned with business goals and drive sustainable growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in compensation, excellent communication skills, and the ability to think critically and drive results. Key Responsibilities Drive Indeed's global compensation strategy by aligning with the Leadership Team and guiding the compensation team to execute priorities. Develop and implement a pay-for-performance strategy that aligns with business goals, regularly updating the salary structure to ensure competitiveness and fairness. Consult with leadership on salary adjustments and partner with HR, Talent Acquisition, Finance, and business functions to align spending and budgets. Partner with the Head of Total Rewards to prioritize ad-hoc requests and urgent situations, ensuring timely and effective solutions. Coach and mentor a team of three compensation partners/analysts, fostering professional growth and development. Provide expertise on executive compensation strategy, compliance, and design, ensuring that programs are aligned with business goals and regulatory requirements. Prepare compensation presentations utilizing benchmark compensation levels, ensuring compliance in public filings and transparency for stakeholders. Stay updated on executive compensation regulations and develop clear communications for plan participants, ensuring that they are informed and engaged. Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you will need: 10+ years of functional experience in designing and managing executive, equity, and broad-based compensation programs on a global basis. 5+ years of people management experience, with a proven track record of developing and mentoring high-performing teams. Outstanding written and verbal communications skills, with the ability to summarize complex topics for senior leadership. Strong data-driven, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and drive informed decision-making. Experience managing multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, changing environment, with a proven ability to adapt and thrive. Strong partnering and influencing skills, with the ability to build relationships, gain credibility, and partner with people across the organization to drive outcomes. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications will be considered a plus: Experience working in a global organization, with a deep understanding of diverse markets and cultures. Knowledge of executive compensation regulations and best practices, with a proven track record of ensuring compliance and driving program effectiveness. Experience with compensation analytics and benchmarking tools, with the ability to leverage data to drive informed decision-making. What We Offer At Indeed, we offer a comprehensive compensation package that includes: A competitive salary range of $170,000 - $240,000 per year, depending on experience and location.
