Order Fulfillment Associate

Company Overview Join Dollar Tree's distribution team as a Order Fulfillment Associate and contribute to the efficient transfer of goods, supporting the company's objective of timely deliveries and retail prosperity. You will be a key part of our operations, helping to ensure the smooth flow of products through the center. Role and Responsibilities In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and accurate loading, unloading, and movement of merchandise. You will support various distribution center operations, adapting as needed to different tasks and departments. Your key responsibilities will include: • Conducting the safe and efficient transfer of goods during loading and unloading. • Inspecting, confirming, and evaluating commodities, then recording the information into remote terminals to verify accuracy and quality. • Packaging and systematically stacking merchandise to prepare it for relocation within the distribution center. • Handling power lift machinery to relocate and manage inventory. • Accurately replenishing pick locations based on system reports and requests. • Fulfilling merchandise requests by selecting and moving items onto conveyors, pallets, or boxes. • Loading goods onto trailers while scanning items to confirm accuracy. • Verifying that shipments are exact, undamaged, and loaded onto the correct trailers. • Implementing standard cleaning procedures to maintain a hygienic and secure workplace. • Flexibly responding to diverse tasks and departmental rotations based on the evolving requirements of the distribution center. Required Skills and Experience • A high school diploma or equivalent is mandatory. • The capacity to safely lift weights up to 70 lbs. • The ability to adapt to shifting job duties and department assignments demonstrates versatility. • Experience in warehouse or distribution roles is advantageous.
