The LatAm Sales Team will be instrumental in establishing 9fin's presence across Brazil, Mexico, Colombia, Chile, Argentina, and Peru, building relationships with leading investment banks, asset managers, and institutional investors. Territory Coverage: Based on language capabilities, the successful candidate will cover Spanish-speaking markets, Portuguese-speaking markets, or ideally both. What You'll Work OnEvery day is different, but here's what you'll focus on:Market Development & Client AcquisitionIdentifying and targeting key financial institutions across Latin American markets including investment banks, asset managers, hedge funds, pension funds, and law firmsBuilding a reliable and repeatable sales pipeline across Spanish and Portuguese-speaking marketsDeveloping deep understanding of local regulatory environments, market structures, and client needs across LatAmRelationship Building & Sales ExecutionConducting client demos and presentations in Spanish and/or Portuguese as requiredRunning successful and well-managed trial processes adapted for LatAm market dynamicsBuilding a clear understanding of 9fin's value proposition and communicating this effectively to regional clientsNegotiating and closing new business while optimizing for local market pricing and contract structuresRegional Market IntelligenceDeveloping expertise in Latin American debt capital markets, including local bond markets, credit structures, and regulatory frameworksUnderstanding competitive landscape and positioning 9fin against regional and global competitorsCollaborating with product teams to ensure 9fin's LatAm data coverage and functionality meets local client needsOperations & ForecastingMaintaining clear record-keeping and forecasting via SalesforceAdapting global sales processes for local market requirements and time zonesSharing market insights with senior management to inform LatAm expansion strategyAbout YouThis role will be a great fit if you have:Essential RequirementsNative fluency in both Spanish and Portuguese (strongly preferred) or native fluency in Spanish OR Portuguese with excellent business communication skillsProfessional working proficiency in English for internal collaboration and global client interactions3-5+ years of relevant Account Executive experience in Capital Markets, B2B SaaS Sales, or Business DevelopmentStrong knowledge of Latin American financial markets including understanding of local debt capital markets, regulatory environments, and institutional investor landscapePreferred ExperienceEstablished network within LatAm financial community including buyside institutions, investment banks, and advisory firmsTrack record of consistently achieving and exceeding sales targets in previous rolesExperience selling financial technology or data solutions to institutional clientsUnderstanding of debt capital markets, credit analysis, or fixed income productsKey CompetenciesAbility to plan and prioritize important tasks while working with accuracy and attention to detailExcellent written and verbal communication skills in both native language and EnglishSelf-motivated team player who can also work effectively independentlyCultural sensitivity and understanding of business practices across different LatAm countriesOur benefitsWe’re a scaling start up and we enjoy sharing our success, when the company succeeds, we always reinvest that in our people.
