About the Role: Director, Quality Control and Quality Assurance We are seeking an experienced and skilled Director, Quality Control and Quality Assurance, to lead our QA/QC management activities Company-wide. This is a remote position that requires frequent travel to Ameresco's facilities, projects, and other locations as needed. As the Director, Quality Control and Quality Assurance, you will play a critical role in ensuring the company's quality management system meets and exceeds ISO 9001 Quality Management System Certification, and that our operations are compliant with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards. Key Responsibilities: Review and enhance the company's quality management system/program to meet and/or exceed ISO 9001 Quality Management System Certification. Conduct Quality Control, Quality Assurance Compliance audits to ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and industry standards. Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to improve operational efficiency and quality. Manage and oversee Quality Control Managers, providing guidance and support to ensure the effective implementation of QA/QC activities. Ensure the company maintains compliance with all Federal, State, and Local government laws and standards related to energy construction projects and renewable energy operations and maintenance. Develop Contract-specific Quality Control Plans to ensure that project-specific quality requirements are met. Manage and maintain Quality Management policies and procedures, ensuring they are up-to-date and aligned with industry best practices. Serve as a direct liaison to the External ISO Auditor, ensuring a smooth audit process and addressing any findings or concerns. Track deficiencies and work with Senior Management to define corrective action plans and close out deficiencies. Collect and analyze data to determine QC trends, providing insights and recommendations to improve quality and operational efficiency. Identify opportunities to improve quality, compliance, procedures, and overall operational efficiency, and implement changes as needed. Perform other duties as required, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to adapt to changing business needs. Minimum Qualifications: To be considered for this role, you must have: A Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience. A minimum of 10 years' experience directly with QA/QC on energy construction projects, as well as renewable energy operations and maintenance. Quality Control Management Certification (QCM). Preferred Qualifications: To stand out as a candidate, you should have: Some level of QCM past training experience, demonstrating your expertise in quality control management. Past experience managing teams, showcasing your leadership skills and ability to motivate and guide others. Experience developing QC processes, highlighting your ability to create and implement effective quality control procedures. Skills and Competencies: To succeed in this role, you will need: Strong knowledge of quality management systems, including ISO 9001. Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide teams. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and identify trends. A proactive and results-driven approach, with a focus on achieving high-quality results.
