Customer Service Representative I Job Overview We're seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative I. This role is available in a hybrid or remote setup, offering flexibility for the right candidate. As a Customer Service Representative I, you will be the frontline representative of BankUnited, handling customer inquiries, resolving issues, and providing exceptional service that makes a difference. Key Responsibilities: Provides exceptional customer service, ensuring that every customer interaction is positive and memorable. Maintains high call productivity and quality scores, adhering to established standards and guidelines. Develops and utilizes knowledge of BankUnited's products and services, including Retail, Online Banking, Mortgage, and Business banking solutions. Responds promptly and accurately to customer inquiries, resolving issues efficiently and effectively. Demonstrates excellent communication and active listening skills, ensuring that customer needs are understood and met. Meets established service level agreements (SLAs) and guidelines, ensuring that customers receive an exceptional level of service. Identifies opportunities to cross-sell financial services and products, enhancing customer relationships and driving business growth. Essential and Preferred Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent required. 0-3 years of experience in a call center environment, preferably in retail banking or residential loans, is desirable but not mandatory. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities. Proficiency in using customer service software and technology.
