Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Senior Analyst/Assistant Manager, Analytics, to join our Engagement and Retention Analytics team in APAC. The primary focus of this role is to analyze customer data, identify valuable insights, and collaborate with different departments to develop strategies that enhance customer experiences and keep customers engaged with the platform over the long term. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in mathematics and statistical methods used for analyzing large data sets, as well as a deep understanding of consumer behaviors related to marketing, content development, and digital experiences. Key Responsibilities Analyze customer social data to identify patterns, reveal opportunities, and create a common understanding of how people are interacting with the platform and content Produce data-based insights that help to launch significant and effective marketing programs Develop strong hypothesis, lead A/B testing, and make data-based recommendations Measure performance and report business results on a daily/weekly/monthly basis with generally relevant KPIs converted into insights and key things to do to improve efficiency Work with different members of the team to align metric definitions across all services within the business Consistently drive towards efficiency by improving and automating where possible, eliminating overt redundancy across the organization, refining metrics, and building new reports on an ad-hoc basis to support navigation Ensure quality and accuracy of predictions through thorough collaboration with colleagues to understand and refine requirements and adherence to privacy, service standards, and quantitative practices Essential Qualifications 2-6 years of relevant experience in a similar role, ideally within a digital business Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field, including Marketing, Economics, Business, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Engineering, Physics, or Sociology. Advanced degree preferred Demonstrated expertise in SQL Strong understanding of Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables Key thinker with good communication and presentation skills Creative mindset with the ability to leverage data to develop analysis Excellent interpersonal skills to convey complex data findings to non-technical stakeholders Good analytical mind Results-oriented Fluent in English Preferred Qualifications Experience working with large data sets and analytics tools Knowledge of machine learning algorithms and statistical modeling techniques Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI Strong understanding of consumer behavior and market trends Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At The Walt Disney Company, we are committed to helping our employees grow and develop in their careers.
