Key Responsibilities Analyze complex business problems and issues using internal and external data sources to provide actionable insights to decision-makers. Identify and interpret trends and patterns in datasets to locate influences and inform strategic planning. Develop forecasts, recommendations, and strategic/tactical plans based on business data and market knowledge. Create specifications for reports and analysis based on business needs and available data elements. Collaborate with clients to modify or tailor existing analysis or reports to meet their specific needs. Participate in management reviews, presenting and interpreting analysis results, summarizing conclusions, and recommending a course of action. Recognize, identify, and document changes to existing business processes and identify new opportunities for process developments and improvements. Review, research, analyze, and evaluate data relating to specific areas of expertise, becoming a subject matter expert. Conduct analysis and use analytical skills to identify root causes and assist with problem management. Analyze business workflow and system needs for conversions and migrations to ensure regulatory compliance. Prepare high-level user documentation and training materials as needed. Essential Qualifications To be considered for this role, you must meet the following essential qualifications: Associate's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. 3-5 years of business analysis experience. 4+ years of managed care experience. Demonstrated familiarity with a variety of concepts, practices, and procedures applicable to job-related subject areas. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are highly preferred: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. 1-3 years of formal training in Business Analysis and/or Systems Analysis.
