The junior business analyst is responsible for gathering and documenting business needs, assisting in process mapping, and conducting data analysis. As part of the Advisory team, the junior business analyst works across client-facing projects to complete deliverables and continually searches for opportunities to expand their knowledge and expertise. Position Responsibilities Primary Responsibilities:Leads discovery and requirements gathering, with supportDrafts and refines one-pagers, PowerPoint presentations, and other deliverables, as required by the project, with supportActs quickly to communicate to project leadership when any changes may impact the projectCompletes tasks and responsibilities in a timely manner and communicates blockers immediately with the appropriate leaderCollaborates with the internal project team to ensure deliverables are completed and client needs are being metAnalyzes business processes and breaks down complex problems into manageable piecesIdentifies knowledge gaps and actively expands their own knowledge in regards to product and identity knowledge, as neededConducts research to support deliverables or documentation, as necessaryFocuses on business outcomes and value to clients, not just completing tasksChampions the Company’s valuesPerforms other duties as assigned Position Requirements & Qualifications EducationBachelor's Degree with a concentration in Finance, Economics or Business preferredExperience0 -1 year of experience with requirements gathering and business process documentation1 year of experience with Identity concepts (e.g., Access Management, Privileged Access Management, Identity and Access Governance, etc.)Proven ability to multitask and work effectively across 1-2 concurrent projectsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced and collaborative environmentDetail-oriented with a strong focus on data accuracyAbility to work both independently and as part of a teamEagerness to learn and adapt to new reporting technologies and toolsPerform accurate and efficient data entry tasks, entering information into databases, spreadsheets, and other digital platformsPossess strong data analytics skills and the ability to work with complex informationIntermediate to advance level experience with ExcelAbove average business acumenAbility to meet deadlinesStrong communication and interpersonal skillsCommitment to excellence and high standardsPreferred QualificationsExperience working on Agile teams and a good grasp of the Scrum framework and terminologyFamiliarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processExperience with Google Suite or related software and Jira/ConfluenceBusiness Analysis certification (ECBA, PMI-BA, CBAP) a plusTravelIDMWORKS embraces a fully remote working environment, however minimal travel will be required on an as-needed basis approximately Physical RequirementsMust be able to continually sit at a desk in front of a computer and in meetingsPosition requires infrequent travel commercially by airplane or carPeriodic travel to an office building/client location requiredMust be able to lift 5-10 lbs. as part of travel or normal job dutiesUse of a keyboard/mouse and communicate via telephone and/or video teleconference is required.
