About the Opportunity Are you a seasoned sales professional with a passion for SMB businesses and the restaurant industry? We're seeking an experienced Full Stack Field Sales Representative, Strategic Accounts to join our Outside Sales team and drive growth by establishing partnerships with Local Hero and Local Premium merchants across the region. About the Team Our Outside Sales team has been the face of DoorDash to our merchant partners since our founding in 2013. Stationed locally, this team creates deep partnerships with the most coveted local and regional restaurants in any given geography. Our Outside Sales team is the revenue driving arm of DoorDash and ensures the growth of our SMB partnerships, which help strengthen operations, accelerate consumer growth, and improve our bottom line. About the Role As a Strategic Merchant Lead for the Outside Sales team, you will be responsible for establishing partnerships with Local Hero and Local Premium merchants across the region. You will prospect, meet with, and close partnerships with these merchants, leveraging your sales expertise and industry knowledge to drive growth and revenue. You will report into our Regional Sales Manager and work closely with the sales leadership and operations team to share on-the-ground insights and mentor teammates. Key Responsibilities Prospect, meet with, and close partnerships with Local Hero and Local Premium merchants across the region Develop and execute sales strategies to drive growth and revenue Lead complex negotiations to structure industry-leading and mutually beneficial economic terms Excel in a transactional deal cycle and close new business within a few weeks Use creative strategies in sales processes and prospect outreach Share on-the-ground insights with sales leadership and operations team Mentor teammates on how to be the best version of themselves after establishing yourself in the role Travel into different markets and meet with restaurant owners (hybrid role with up to 50% travel) Essential Qualifications 3+ years of experience in a closing sales role or related experience Proven track record of exceeding goals and driving revenue growth Experience selling multi-product solutions and negotiating complex deals Strong industry knowledge and understanding of the restaurant and SMB markets Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities Experience using a CRM (Salesforce) and Google Apps Preferred Qualifications Experience in the food delivery or logistics industry Knowledge of the DoorDash platform and services Experience working with Local Hero and Local Premium merchants Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to travel up to 50% of the time Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At DoorDash, we're committed to supporting our employees' happiness, healthiness, and overall well-being.
