Job Overview The Remote Customer Support and Security Analyst will play a crucial role in managing and monitoring data security and technology risks, collaborating with IT portfolios, key functional partners, and external assessors. The ideal candidate will be passionate about identifying, communicating, and mitigating risks, with a strong background in information security and a controls-centered mindset. As a member of the IT Risk team within Delta's Information Security Governance Risk and Compliance organization, you will be responsible for assessing, measuring, and communicating risk across the vendor, internal controls, and cyber spaces. Key Responsibilities Assess, measure, and communicate risk across the vendor, internal controls, and cyber spaces. Establish and communicate key risk and key performance indicators. Engage with partners in Information Security, Information Technology, and Internal Audit to ensure compliance with SOX, PCI, and other regulatory/legal requirements. Develop and implement IT controls that mitigate risk to an acceptable level. Report on controls, including control description, process steps, and testing criteria. Train and educate IT partners on IT risk, controls, and control effectiveness testing. Periodically test control effectiveness, working with IT partners to close gaps in control adequacy. Provide IT controls and risk information to enable reporting on control gaps and control effectiveness. Expect organizational impact and understand the risk associated with introducing new technologies or processes. Perform special tasks as assigned. Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you will need: A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or Information Services. Strong knowledge of risk and security frameworks like NIST, ISO, and COSO. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to stand by and listen to clients and partners; convey ideas effectively; and prepare clear and concise documentation. A proactive nature with customer satisfaction as a primary goal. Attention to detail and the ability to multitask. Experience working in a management environment using a risk and controls mindset. At least 2 years of experience across IT domains like application development, infrastructure, technical support, and operations, or business continuity. The ability to adjust priorities based on changing circumstances and potential risks to the organization. A consistent focus on the safety and security of self, others, and personal data. The ability to embrace diversity, thinking, and styles. Preferred Qualifications To gain a competitive edge, you may also have: Key industry certifications like CISA, CISM, CISSP, etc. Experience across Information Security domains like management and compliance, incident response, identity and access management, penetration testing, or e-discovery and forensics. Experience across IT areas like application development, infrastructure, technical support, and operations, or business continuity. Experience with RSA Archer. A history of driving groundbreaking change. A BS/MS in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Information Services, or a related field.
